Synopsis: In 1960, a treaty was signed between Greece and Germany that led almost 600,000 Greeks to immigrate and work in the factories and mines of Germany. The documentary follows descendants of this migration stream—Teo, Aglaia, and Vasso—as they navigate their daily lives and the effects of this massive population movement on their present and future. It explores the meeting of two cultures and the interactions in today’s socio-political developments, highlighting the experiences of the third generation of immigrants who are neither “foreigners” nor fully integrated into either culture, but rather citizens of the world.
