The 13th San Francisco Greek Film Festival

The 13th Annual San Francisco Greek Film Festival opens Saturday, October 15, and will run through Saturday, October 22, at the Delancey Street Screening Room, 600 Embarcadero Street in San Francisco. Feature length films and shorts from Greek and Cypriot filmmakers from around the world will be showcased each night of the week starting at 7pm, and all movies will have English subtitles. The San Francisco Greek Film Festival is the longest running film festival in the United States to feature contemporary Greek and Cypriot cinema.


Chevalier, Greece΄s nomination to the Oscars for Best Foreign Language film, is Athina Rachel Tsangari΄s latest tale of six men on a fishing trip in the Aegean Sea.

This year’s selections offer a variety of genres as well as documentaries including some of Greece’s most outstanding recent films. The full line up is the following:
