Synopsis: Cyprus, 1936. In the midst of a raging tuberculosis epidemic, a dedicated young doctor seeks inventive ways to save his patients’ lives and protect them from the disease’s social stigma. The film is adapted from a short autobiographical story by Takis Evangelides, a local doctor at Cyprus’ only TB sanatorium when the island was still a British colony.
