Synopsis: 87-year-old persecuted and declared guerrilla Giannis Lionakis, in a farewell trip to the place that defined his life, tells us about a 14-year long (1948-1962) incredible survival effort, which begins with the end of the Civil War in Crete. The backbone of the film is unpublished footage that was shot in 2007 as part of the documentary, “THERE WAS NO OTHER WAY”.
