The 12th Annual San Francisco Greek Film Festival will open on Monday 11th May and will run through Sunday 17th May 2015, at the Delancey Street Screening Room (600 Embarcadero Street, San Francisco).
The SFGFF will showcase contemporary Greek films from both established, but also up-and-coming directors who are either Greek or are of Greek descent. Feature-length films and shorts will be showcased each night, and all movies will have English subtitles.
This year’s program has something for everyone’s taste, as comedy, drama and documentaries will all be on offer. For the first time, there will also be an extra day of screenings, on Saturday 9th May, entitled ‘Short Film Blast’, where the films to be shown will be exclusively shorts. This day has been added to honour the record-high number of short film submissions this year. Moreover, the matinee slot on Sunday 17th May is dedicated to the younger members of the audience, as it consists of a children’s program.
