The 11th San Francisco Greek Film Festival opened with the 2013 movie A Place Called Home (alternative title “The Tree and The Swing”). Written and directed by Maria Douza, the movie made its West Coast debut on Saturday, May 3rd at the packed Delancey Screening Room in San Francisco, California. The sold-out event was a successful opening and the film was very warmly received by the audience. Director, Maria Douza was present allowing guests the opportunity to ask questions and socialize with the director.
A reception followed the screening of the movie.
